
Vincent P. Scalise is a Utica native and U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served 24 years in the military. He is the Founder and Executive Director of the Utica Center for Development, a nonprofit supporting veterans, individuals with developmental disabilities, and youth across the region.

As Director of Mental Health and Agency Sustainability, I am dedicated to strengthening programs and supporting long-term organizational success. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work and bring an empathetic, client-centered approach to all aspects of my work.
I oversee the PFC Dwyer Program, The Better Together Center, and operations at the Parish on Broadway. Across these areas, I focus on building a culture of respect that supports staff, fosters collaboration, and ensures those we serve feel valued, heard, and supported.

Michael Peterson serves as General Manager of The Parish on Broadway and Director of Agency Development for the Utica Center for Development, bringing over a decade of experience across marketing, live entertainment, and hospitality. Throughout his career, he has worn many hats—from promoter and marketer to restaurant manager and front-of-house staff—giving him a well-rounded, hands-on approach to event execution. Michael is dedicated to delivering seamless, high-quality experiences, working closely with clients to ensure every detail is handled with professionalism and care. Whether planning a private event or large-scale production, he is committed to making each occasion smooth, successful, and memorable.
